Boy is this  a fun flower program – we have made an outrageous claim that we think these are the very best spreading petunias  - how CRAZY is that??

So you need to know all the behind the scenes drama with this.  Petunias in the old days were pretty ‘clumpy’ – would grow into rounded mounds and spread about 3’ or so.  Then about 15 years ago there was some major flower breeding that let petunias stay flat on the ground and spread to 6-10’ across – very nifty stuff.

The problem is that in that last 15 years there has been some amazing improvements in these spreading types but gardeners have trouble finding them in all the garden center clutter. Too many petunias and too little time.

SO  - we took the very best of the new spready types – and have them in this collection of nifty must have flowers.  We took best colors, strongest plants and flowers that will bloom all year. No more bald petunias, no more tired plants with flowers just at the tips – these are FANTASTIC.

We find petunias like about twice the plant food of other flowers.  So make sure it is well fertilized and when in doubt – feed.
